Project HOPE Home

We purpose in all things to bring glory to God in this effort.  This is His work.  He
has blessed it and helped it along.  Whatever glory, attention, praise or good that has come is from Him and to Him.

We purpose to help those who, for the most part, have lost their earthly possessions, or have been displaced to the extent they are homeless and in need of daily food and clothing.

We believe this is Biblical and follows the example that Christ gives us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the sick, and aid the hurting.
(Matthew 25:35-36)

We purpose that this aid be given without regard to someone's race, sex, religion, or background.  We are here to help the needy because of who we are, not because of who they are.

We purpose that this effort lay the groundwork to encourage local churches of the areas being served to spread the Gospel of Christ to their communities.

We purpose to involve as many Christians as possible, by adopting a middle of the road course, avoiding conservative or liberal extremes, yet welcoming their help in reaching the lost.  We purpose to do this by not entangling ourselves in squabbles, but by keeping our eyes firmly fixed on Christ.  It is our belief that this effort transcends the politics of guilt by association, of brotherhood camps, and of personalities.

Surely genuine Christians can rise above these things to do what Christ has both demonstrated and stated that we should do:  Feed the hungry, help the sick, and preach the Good News to all.

We purpose not to conflict with what local congregations are doing, but to work with them in a Biblically
cooperative pattern.
